We couldn’t come up with a theme for this post, so it’s just some random thoughts.
After the feeding list on the recent post, I wish I’d added “No wonder she’s a fattie!”
G was very interactive today. I think they’re tapering off the cold meds. Or maybe she was just reserving judgment on us.
You think “Aww, look at her hold my fingers and stare at them!”. Then they’re pulled relentlessly towards her mouth like everything else. Those two bottom teeth are sharp!
Wow that toy makes music! That makes me want to put it in my mouth.
We bought some Kazakhstan Couture. The snowsuit we brought was too small and too warm. She was more involved when we went outside, I think because of not being quite so over heated.
She’s still cute. She’s not the best walker driver. But she’s the cutest.
We got a raspberry during feeding today. Theresa was covered in mush. (No pic, sorry.)
We had Turkish “fast food” for lunch today. One of the best things about Kazakhstan is the complete lack of American fast food chains (unlike, for example, Europe). The interpreters use the phrase “fast food” with us, but it means ordering at a counter, paying, and having them bring it to your table. It also seems to mean looking at several trays of food and asking what they are. Not just us asking the interpreters, but the interpreters asking the staff. No menu, not even on the wall behind the counter. Theresa liked her moussaka. I thought my lamb doner would be more like gyros, but it was tougher.
Dear Theresa & Troy,
Your little angel is so adorable. Can’t wait to see her in person. I love your book Troy! This truly is a keepsake. You can publish it when you return to the states. Pictures are phenominal! Want to wish the two – make that the three of you a Blessed Easter.
Love, Aunt Helen and Terry
